My last problem with my skin are the acne scars on my forehead and the sides of my face.
So I am determined to be rid of them once and for all.
So in order to get rid of these devil patches, it would first help to know what they are and how they appear!
They are also called pimple inflation scars, and they usually happen at the end of the skin inflammation of long lasting acne patches.
Acne can destroy the solid skin tissue and that is what becomes scars. Once your acne clears, our body naturally tries to repair the damage done by the acne. In this process, it starts to produce collagen. And we know collagen provides a substance that supports the skin and repairs it.
Some ways you can help fade the scars are below 🙂
1. Lemon Juice Method
Take 2-3 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice and a cotton ball. Apply the juice to the skin, and leave it for 30 minutes. Just continue doing this for a few weeks.
2. Baking Soda Method
Take 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 teaspoons of water. Mix it until it forms a thick paste. Apply it on the affected area and gently massage in a circular motion. Leave on for 3 MINUTES, NO LONGER. Once the time is up, wash your face with cool water.
3. Coconut Oil Method
Take some Coconut Oil and gently rub it onto the scars and let it absorb into your skin. You don’t HAVE to rinse it off but if it is too oily for you, then you can wash it off with your face wash after 30 minutes.
4. Extra Virgin Olive Oil Method
Apply a light layer of olive oil all over the affected areas. GENTLY massage until it is absorbed into the skin. Drape a WARM, NOT HOT, wash cloth over your face to open up the pores. Then VERY GENTLY wipe away the oil. Repeat this 2-3 times before washing your face with cool water.
5. Honey Method
Take a teaspoon of honey and apply the honey to the affected areas. Gently massage in a circular motion. Leave it on for 10 minutes then wash off with cool water.
Do this twice a week for best results
