Tips for Weight Loss After Pregnancy

Something I can’t stop thinking about is how I will keep the weight off after I give birth.
When it’s really not a complicated thing. Honestly, it’s kind of the same even when you’re not pregnant.

But, foremost, have patience and go at your own pace 🙂

But just in case, I came across some tips I’d like to share!

1. DON’T DIET

Diets are already a tad unreliable for us normal people lol
Especially from experience, it just makes you want relapse even more.

Instead just go with a balance diet, like you usually would. Fruits, veggies, and good lean meats. This is especially important if you plan on breastfeeding. Which breastfeeding, by the way, can also possibly help to shed pounds as well.

2. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER

We all know this is essential 🙂
It speeds up your metabolism and fills you up, making you want to eat less. IT of course, also keeps you hydrated.

I love putting lemon slices in my cold water ~

3. EXERCISE

I don’t need to tell you why this is important. If you want to lose weight, and get that bod you desire, diet and exercise go hand in hand!

Anything counts guys 🙂 Going for walks everyday. Cardio. Weight training. Sweat it out, man. It helps with depression, sleep issues, and stress as well!

Whatever you can squeeze in, get it in.

4. GET YOUR SLEEP

When you are tired, your body releases cortisol , and other stress hormones that promote weight gain.

So getting your sleep is important. Grab a nap anytime you can, when the baby isn’t keeping you up of course ~

I know it may seem impossible to do these with your new baby in the household, but trust me. Your body will get into routine and it will get used to it. Anytime you can, take a 30 minute walk. Take a nap. And stay away from those naughty naughty foods, most of all. But you are not alone. If you need help or someone to talk to, we are here. Always.

You can do it! Just relax and be happy 🙂

Good Luck
