How you sleep definitely can affect wrinkles. Which is why certain ones are called “sleep lines”! Smooshing your face against the pillow is what causes them.
So do your best to try sleeping on your back! If that is impossible for ya then try a satin pillowcase. Your face will just easily slide against the satin rather than scrunch against it : )
